Women’s Grievance Redressal Committee

A women’s grievance redressal & anti-ragging committee has been setup at Saibaba Arts & Science College , Nagpur. The aim of this committee is to control the atrocities faced by female students studying in the college and curb the ragging (physical/mental) done by senior students on their juniors. The role of women grievance redressal committee is very important because it addresses the issues faced by women at public/private institutions. The seven-member committee comprises of principal, lecturers and one outside representative having impeccable social work experience. The committee takes notice of each and every case registered by students and take appropriate action.

Due to active role of anti-ragging committee there is a friendly and supportive environment among the students in the college.This cell organizes different workshops are organized for women empowerment and self-defense.
