Procedure for Admission to Degree Classes

The following documents in original to get admission

  • Applications for admission to Sem. I of B. A. / B.Sc./BSc Home Science should be submitted within 15 days from the announcement of the results of H.S.S.C. Examination or the dates of admission set by the University Academic Calander.
  • Students who are eligible for admission to SEM III/IV of B.A. Home Science & B.Sc. should complete the admission procedure, admissions within one week from the announcement of the results of Part I or Part II and late fees or Rs.25/-will be charged after that.
  • Students belonging to reserved category should produce Caste Verification Certificate at the time of admission.
  • Students from other Universities should submit Eligibility Certificate from Nagpur University before taking admission.
  • Student will not be admitted after the last date of admission, prescribed by the University as per the University Academic Calander.
  • All applications for admission should be accompanied by the following documents in original
    1. College Leaving Certificate (TC) from the last college attended.
    2. Marks Sheet/sheets of the last examination passed.
    3. Caste Certificate in original for SC/ST/NT/VJNT/OBC candidates.
    4. Two Xerox copies of T.C., Mark sheet and Caste Certificate.
    5. Two passport size recent coloured photographs.
  • The following documents in original to get admission

    N.B. Students must retain with them attested Photostat copies in sufficient number before submitting their original documents. No Original documents or Photostat copy will be supplied to the students in the midst of the session.
    Students should before submitting the originals in the College Office keep one or more attested copies of these certificates so that, they can be used in the future as the deposited certificates excluding T.C will be given only after the completion of the course. As for T.C. the T.C of the College will be issued on leaving the institution
    Students who will be admitted in non grant classes will have to pay fees specified by the management and approved by the RTM Nagpur University.
    Admission will be finalised only after the payment of necessary fees.
    Once admitted, no change of Faculty, subject or Medium will be permitted.
    No student will be admitted on the basis of duplicate T.C without supporting documents of procedure followed in the issue of the duplicate or true copy.
    The students who have passed the examination and have taken long gap to take admission, will have to submit affidavit for the gap.
    Students seeking admission in Hindi linguistics minority category should submit an affidavit on Rs. 100/-stamp paper in prescribed proformance.

    RULES

    1. ATTENDANCE:

      A student who does not attend 75% of the lectures or practical in each subject offered by him/her is liable to be detained and shall not be permitted to appear in the college promotion or Board or University examination. Fine will be imposed on the irregular students.

      DRESSCODE:(Senior College)

      All the students of UG in Arts, Commerce and Science faculty will have to observe the following dress code.

      Boys: Blue Strip shirt with full sleeve with college logo and Navy blue trouser; Black shoes and white socks.

      Girls: Blue Strip Kurtawith college logo White Salwar and Blue Dupatta, Black shoes, white socks

      *No student shall be allowed to enter college premises without uniform.

      DISCIPLINE

      Student who is found to be disturbing the classes or indulging in indisciplinary activities is liable to fine or expulsion or expelsion from the college. The Principal is the final authority in all matters of discipline.

      LABORATORIES

      No student is permitted to enter any laboratory when he does not have practical class there. Strict carefulness in handling the equipments. Fine will be charged for the losses incured in the Laboratory Discipline must be maintained while in the laboratory. Science students should maintain their practical records up to date and get them verified by their Professors.

      IDENTITY CARD

      Every student must carry his identity Card duly signed by the Principal or the Vice-Principal whenever he is in the college premises.Only his/her parents or guardian would be allowed when required, outsiders shall not accompany him/her, otherwise it could amount to cancellation of his/her admission/heavy punishment. No studentis permitted to bringto the college premises any outsider except his parents or guardian. Duplicate Identity Card will only by issued on payment offine or Rs.100/-

      Any student coming to the college on Two wheeler should have proper driving licence. (It should be produced for security check any time.)

      LIBRARY

      Every student of Degree will be issued three borrower cards against which he may borrow two Text books and one general reading book. These books should be returned to the library within one week.

      No student should permit any other person to use the borrower cards issued in his name.

      Degree students may avail of the Book Bank Scheme. They have to deposit the cost of the books borrowed and return them within 3 days after final examination or earlier. The cost deposited will be refunded after necessary deduction.

      The student should ensure that the book borrowed by him/her is not damaged when he borrows it if is found that he returns a book in a damaged condition,the cost with a fine of Rs. 5/-will be charged from him.

      The Librarian will refuse to receive any book returned in a damaged condition or with any matter written on the pages. The cost of such books with fine will be recovered from the student.

      Students who need information regarding the Book Bank Scheme, should contact the Librarian.

    2. GENERAL

      Student must keep their bicycle at the cycle stand allotted and ensure that it is locked properly.

      Students must collect their original documents within one year of their leaving the college. After a late fee of Rs.50 with additional Rs.10/ for every year or as revised by the authorities from time to time.

      National Service Scheme (NSS)

      The National Service Scheme unit of the college has a strength 50 /as allowed by the RTM Nagpur University. The students desirous of joining NSS should contact the Programme officer Prof. Abhijit Fulbandhe.

      Sports and Games

      Students can take part in various games and can represent the college team in various tournaments. Interested students should contact Prof. Abhijit Fulbandhe.

      Note: Students must submit the necessary application form for University examination/E.B.C., Scholarships, Enrollment etc. within the prescribed dates. In caasse of any difficulty contact the office concerned.

      IMPORTANT NOTE

      Any tampering noticed at any stage in the College/School Leaving Certificate or Marks Sheets or Identity Card will result in immediate cancellation of the admission, and the college may also proceed to take further action against the student.

      The students must write their Blood Group in the Admission Form.

      All admissions will be done as per prevailing Govt. Univ. norms.

      Model examination for all the classes will be conducted in the month of February/ as per the academic calader of the college. It is compulsory for the students to appear in the examination.

      The use of Tobacco &Tobacco products or any other drugs is stricly prohibited in the college premises.

      Students will have to appear in examination through the medium for which he/she has been admitted in the class, as per the rules of R.T.M. Nagpur University .

      The college will reopen as per the university Calander

      The college premises is under CCTV Surveillance.

      The use of Mobiles in the class is not allowed. Mobile shoud be in silent mod in college premises. Any misuse of the mobile in the campus will attract strict punishment.

      ALUMNI ASSOCIATION

      An Alumni Association is formed in the College and periodic meetings are held so as to interact with them and involve them in the shaping of our policies and developing the college as a main stake holder. Their suggestions in the light of their experience in the College and the present experience in their job and the world at large. .

      PARENTS-TEACHERS MEETING

      Meeting of parents of College students with concerned teachers & the principal will be held in the 3rd week of October. and on 2nd week of Jan 2023. Parents are requested to attend the same.

      ANTI RAGGING POLICY

      Ragging is strictly prohibited within the premises of the College. Strict action will be initiated if foud.

      CLEAN CAMPUS

      The Dust bins provied in various places in the Collegeshould be used and littering in campus should be avoided.

      PLASTIC FREE CAMPUS

      College follows the protocol of plastic free campus and advocates the same in their homes.

      WATER HARVESTING

      We have done water harvesting in the college as a model for the students to follow in their homes.

      ORGANIC KITCHEN GARDEN

      We are having an organic kitchen garden under the supervision of the department of Botany so that the students are motivated.The same manure is used in the kitchen garden and the flower garden in the College.

      VERMI COMPOST

      We make vermin compost for training the student and motivate them in their agriculture work at home.

      SAVE ELECTRICITY

      Save electricity is our policy. For this we are using LED bulbs in our institution. The bulbs are made by the students themselves under the skilled development programme in the Incubation Centre in the College. This gives the students great satisfaction as well as inspiration for taking up the message.

      NOTE

      Enrollment fees is applicable only for fresh student. Minimum 75% of fee to be paid at the time of admission. Second Installment of 25% remaining fee should be paid before 31st December of every year. EBC concession will be granted on application subject to government approval. An internal Complaint Committee for the addressing grievances is formed in the College. An anti-ragging committee is formed to prevent all forms (Physical/mental) of ragging in the campus by the seniors on juniors. The Women’s grievance Committee is pivotal to the wellbeing of the girl student as it addresses the issues faced by women in the institutions. The committees are under the supervision of the Principal and are comprised of women staff student representative, senior administrative staff and one outside member with remarkable Social Work experience and one member who is a women activist. College will conduct various programmes to sensitize the issues there by a healthy environment in implementing the Government policies in letter and in spirit. Women empowerment is also is aimed at in the formation in the College is taken care of.
