COVID- 19 pandemic hit the world out of the blue and kept us aghast for about three years. It kept us in isolation from the society and even from the dear and near ones in the family as well. No part of the world remained unaffected and every human activity was affected and came to a standstill. The progress of the nations has been pulled back to many years. It will take many years to overcome the loss excluding the loss of precious life of our kith and kin. But the unrelenting human nature fought with it and almost won the battle that, we have come out of the threat of extinction of humanity from the face of the earth and we have learned to live in the world though not without it but along with it. The COVID -19 pandemic taught us how vulnerable we are and that, the predicament can be overcome only with the help of science and technology. Here comes the importance of education as the sole hope for humanity to save itself from numerous calamities of nature in store for us. We all together will win this battle and also the battles in the future which humanity is pitted against. We are actually placed in a minute portion of the universe favourable for life and we are surrounded by the unimaginable vast expanse where life can never happen or progress.

Saibaba Arts and Science College Parsoeni, Nagpur was founded by a group of visionaries under the leadership of Hon. Shri. Prakash Domki in the year 2013.It is committed to excellence in education and is devoted to fulfill the aspirations of its students in the villages in and around Parsoeni. From the humble beginning in the milieu of rural Parsoeni, Saibaba College has established itself to be a name in RTM Nagpur University, Nagpur to which it is affiliated. Our students represent not only the College and the University but the state as well in the field of sports and games. It was started with no grant- in- aid status and still it rose up to be a beacon of hope for the rural youth. Of late the Science Faculty is awarded grant in aid status by the state Government. This will give a new impetus to the educational activities of the College as half of the financial burden College has been relieved of. The College is preparing itself for assessment by the NAAC at Bangalore We are committed to the all-round development of the students and provide with a campus experience to be cherished for a life time.

We, at Saibaba believe that, education is the key to the world unseen and the world unheard. It, like a magic word, will open and reveal to us the priceless treasures of the world. Education leads to the development of the nation by building strong and resilient communities. It infuses the future citizens with confidence, persistence, perseverance, and also endow with an indomitable will filled with sincerity and conscientiousness. Therefore, we pay great attention to academic competence combined with social commitment so that, our new generation can contribute to the nation building exercise. The College promotes skill-oriented programs supported by good laboratories, classrooms, well stalked library, and excellent ambience for sports and games. The College also takes care of vivacious milieu for co-curricular activities to enrich the students’ learning involvement. In toeing the line with the current advances, we encourage discussions on equality for all irrespective of the colour, caste, or the religion one professes. We stand for women empowerment. We have initiated free driving lessons to our students especially our women folk so that, they may be independent and open up to the avenues for employment. The Home Science students are going to be entrepreneurs and support to them for startups with tie up with the other charitable institutions and industrialists is in the offing. All these approaches necessitate a group planning followed by implementation of the shared dream for the College which compels strong obligation on the part of all the stakeholders. I am honoured to be a part of a team that prices the exceptionality and substance of each individual. I take this opportunity to acknowledge the constant support of the management especially Hon. Secretary Shri. Prakash Domkiji. The assurance and support he gives us will definitely take us to further heights of excellence in the field of Education in Nagpur District. The substance of the institution will come from the students who have assimilated the values given out through our teaching. I wish all the students a bright future. I am happy to welcome you all to this institution which operates on the ideals of Saibaba who believed in the universality of God. May we all be guided and inspired by the ideologies and teachings of Saibaba.
